Multiple bloggers in one blog.

I belong to a group blog and we would like to import our blogger site to wordpress. Is there a way to have thirty bloggers on a wordpress blog? Is there a way to have monitors who oversee the blog? I don’t see a way to do that at this point. Thank you for your help.

Hi there,
I don’t see a problem with this. You just need invite users to the blog that you would like to use as a group blog. When you invite them, you can choose what roles would you like to assign to them.
Here is a list of all roles and what they can do:

You can have as many users on the site as you want, yes. Each person would need to register their own WordPress.com username account before they can be added to the site. They can create an account without creating a site here:

You can see the link provided above for the different user roles available, and what each can do.
If you want content to be approved before it’s published, you’ll have to invite the bloggers as contributors. Contributors can create draft posts, but they can’t publish, and can’t upload media files to the library. Draft posts created by contributors have to be published by Editors or Admins, but the user who created the post will be credited as the post author.
Authors can publish and edit their own posts, but they can’t modify posts created by others.
Editors can modify any content created by any user on the site, and can also publish static pages. But they can’t modify site settings or customize the theme.
Admins can do anything, including adding more users and completely deleting the site, so try not to have multiple admins on your site :)
