Multiple blogs- automatic updating message?

  I have 3 different blogs, one main one, and two other ones that I don’t blog on as often. When I post on the other blogs, is there a way I can set up an automated message to appear on my main blog to say that the other blog has been updated? Or do I have to type the message myself each time?

  One thing I do is put the RSS feed of my photoblog in the sidebar of my teaching blog.

  But other than that, the only way to do what you want is to manually do it. Or maybe have one (or two) posts (one for each blog) that you just change the date on so it pops to the top (something like Blog XYZ has been update, come take a look). That’s still manually though, but possibly quicker.
