multiple blogs on current purchased WP subdomain
-
Hi, we just created a new blog on our own site (purchase $13 WP option) called: blog.domain.com. WP installed locally. All works well.
We need to add a new blog called: blog.domain.com/newblog.
Questions:
– How do we do that? Do we need to install an new WP instance there?
– DO we need to pay another $13 for WP to recognize it?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The blog you recently created and mapped to your subdomain (e.g. blog.yourdomain.com) is hosted here at WordPress.com. We do not currently allow mapping to subdirectories, such as yourdomain.com/blog, so you won’t be able to set up a new WordPress.com blog at a subdirectory the way that you mentioned.
However, you are welcome to create a new blog and map it to a subdomain such as newblog.yourdomain.com. In that case, you can log in to your WordPress.com account and create the new blog at this link:
https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/
You will need to purchase another domain mapping upgrade for the new blog to link the blog to the new subdomain: Map a Subdomain
If you would like to install WordPress.org locally, you are welcome to create a self-hosted blog for your site. However, this is separate from WordPress.com — you can read more about the differences here: WordPress.com and WordPress.org
If you have any questions about this, please let me know!
