Multiple blogs on one website

  Hi

  I want to create multiple blogs on one website. Is this something I can do?
  I’ve created my website and pages but I want to add 2 (maybe 3) blogs to different pages. But whenever I try to do this, all of my posts are linked to each blog. I have googled how to do this, have created categories and tags for each blog but even when I do this, it still links all posts to each blog.
  It says something about linking using the navigation menu in appearance but I haven’t got this option.

  Is this something I can actually do with a free plan? If so, please can someone explain, in simple terms, what I’m doing wrong?
