Multiple blogs within a wp.COM site
-
I have a WordPress.com site, that consists of a front home (blog) page, and numerous static pages within the site, covering various projects I am working on.
My question is, can I run seperate blogs on different pages in my site (e.g. One blog stream for each of my projects)?
And further to this, can I use the home page as an aggregator, pulling together all blog posts (from elsewhere within the site), giving a welcome-summary type of thing.
I have tried numerous things in the config, and so far have not been able to do this.
Any help would be great,
Thanks

Hi there!
You’ll be able to have pages with static content and one page for posts, if you need more than 1 page for posts maybe you can use pages do categorize your content.
For example: If you have your regular posts but you want to create a page to show only posts from a specific category you can follow the link below:

Thank you for this – OK, to clarify…
I keep my blog (home) page, where all of my updates go after I publish them.
I keep my 5 static pages (along the top menu, or whatever), each page relating to a specific project.
When I write and publish a post, I categorise it (e.g. project 1, project 2 etc)
Each categorised blog post appears in the relevant static page, as well as on my home page (so, in two places). Is this right?

OK, I have tested, and confirm this is correct – awesome to the max!! Thank you Daniel.
To confirm, I now need to create categories for all of my project pages. When I post, I choose the correct category, and the post ends up on both my home page and the correct project page.
Nice
:)Modes, please close as solved
