Multiple Category lists in side bar: duplicates

    I want to have one Category list for my site to be for Categories of my work, and one to be for a Clients list- but if you put two Category widgets in your side bar -they are duplicates, is there a way to chose which Categories show up in list A and which is List B?

    Unfortunately, this is just how the categories widgets work. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY has been able to figure out what use it is.

    You could (if you wanted a lot of work) make two parent categories: Clients and Work, and make all of the others sub-categories, but it’s a big pain.

    Also, another alternative if this is really important to you. Is place your categories as part of your blogroll. Label 1 as work and 1 as client list. Blogrolling allows us to break links down by ‘named sections.’ But you’d need to enter the URL for each category, which can be tedious.
