Multiple Comment Notifications

On my blog I have the notifications set to e-mail me when a post has been made/awaiting moderation.
But I get multiple (hundreds – anywhere from 15-30+ at a time) of auto-responses for the same topic in two versions: the first has the poster’s user name (UserName [(email visible only to moderators and staff)]), then a second identical e-mail from Admin (Admin [(email visible only to moderators and staff)]).
I can delete them and there will be more the next time I check my e-mail. They’ll also populate my e-mail retroactively; this morning I found some from last Wednesday, deleted them, and when I checked again they were back. I don’t have this issue with any other e-mails.
We checked all of the admin settings and couldn’t find anything that stuck out that could be causing it.
I’m using Outlook 2010 with a GMail account.

Thank you. You failed to read the Read first before posting sticky post at the head of the forum. It explains the differences between free hosted wordpress.com blogs and free software from wordpress.ORG used by those who are self hosting their blogs.
Look at the footer of your blog. What you see is “Proudly powered by WordPress”. You do not have a free hosted wordpress.com blog so we cannot help you here at wordpress.com. You are in the wrong forum. The correct forum for you is here http://wordpress.ORG/support/

Thanks, I’ll have to make sure my wife tells me what she sets up for me next time. I didn’t realize there was a distinction, nor would I have even known.
