  If we take a subscription, can we load the software onto 2 computers?

  If you create a site here at WordPress.com you don’t get any software. The site will be hosted on WordPress.com servers and accessed via the internet. You can of course access it via different computers.
  A paid plan applies to one site. You could purchase more than one plan if you want more than one site, or create more than one free sites with .blog or .wordpress.com subdomains.
