multiple cut tags in one post

    I’m hosting a litmag via wordpress and I’m looking for a tag to help me display the work in brief blurbs with a separate cut beneath for each separate piece of work. Unless I’m doing it wrong, the “read more” function is unable to do this function.
    I’m looking for something to function in a format like this:

    LIT MAG

    title
    work blurb
    (CUT TO MORE)

    title
    work blurb
    (CUT TO MORE)

    etc.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Yes, the read-more tag is irrelevant: what it does is truncate a post when you view the main posts page and link to the rest of that post. It can’t be used more than once in the same post, and it has no effect when you view a single complete post or a static page.

    Where do you want the “separate pieces of work” to be? all of them further down the same post or page, or all of them on one separate page, or each one in its own page?
