Multiple destinations from one link

  Is there any way to post links on the site so they go to a .com address in america, or .co.uk in england, etc

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  No, every link must go to a specific destination.

  The link will go to a specific destination, but I want to be able to send the party to an area relevant site. It doesn’t make any sense to me to have to post 1000ish identical websites (one for each country in the world), with each one having links to that country only.
  I can’t be the only person who has had this problem, anyone come up with a solution?

  So you want the link destination to change depending upon the IP address of the person clicking on it? That involves “geo targeting.” You might want to look into WordPress.org. It would probably require plugins.

  It will most definitely require plugins, and the purchase of each of those domain names. It will be expensive, very expensive, because s/he seems to be expecting the actual contents to change based on the reader’s location. That does indeed mean hundreds of different web pages PER PAGE OF YOUR SITE. And that’s brutally expensive.

  Should be free as I was talking about affiliate links to amazon, for example, click on link for a movie and be taken to relevant amazon site rather than just the british version. Musicdoc1 is right, a plugin would work perfectly, but as I have only a wordpress site they won’t except them, thanks anyway
