Multiple Domain
-
Hi,
I have two different domain names registered from GoDaddy.
One will be intended for fashion, the other will be for IT services. Can I use both those domains on a single wordpress package?

The above scenario would be best served by two different plans since the target audiences are distinct.
Here is a comparison of the features for the WordPress.com plans:

@arpitj33 just to clarify too, each site requires a separate plan. You can have multiple domains on a single site, but they will all display the same thing and redirect to a single primary domain. So if your site is for IT and Fashion, it might work well, otherwise separate sites (with separate plans) would be best.

Thanks very much. This information has been helpful.
However, I already have a hosting server for both my domains. And it does not make sense to pay for hosting through WordPress hosting, when I have purchased hosting.

Hi there!
To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.
We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.
You can find more details about WordPress.com and WordPress.org on this support page:
https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
If you already purchased hosting elsewhere, that means you’re using the WordPress.org version, and you do not need to create anything on WordPress.com.
We also won’t be able to help with sites hosted elsewhere. For any issues, you’ll want to reach out directly to your host, or post to https://wordpress.org/support/forums/.
