Multiple Domain Routing
-
Hello,
I contacted the support team on the 23rd but haven’t heard a reply as of yet. Sorry if i’m bothering you but just making sure you have received it!Basically I am having issues regarding multiple routing for my domain name ‘wildheartsmusic.com.au’ – at the moment it routes to my Gmail account and if i make my wordpress primary domain wildheartsmusic.com.au my emails go nowhere.
I have contacted the host of my domain and they have asked to grab a few things from wordpress; ‘ask them to add an entry into their DNS server for you to point wildheartsmusic.com.au to your sub-domain’ and ‘find out the IP we need to change your A records to.’
Im hoping that makes some form of sense to you!Appreciate your time

Hi there,
I’m not sure I fully understand what you mean by “multiple routing for my domain name ” so I’m not sure if the answer below is what you’re looking for, but I’m going to give it a shot anyway.
If you are wanting to set up an email address such as “(email visible only to moderators and staff)”, you can do that, but you will not be hosting that email on WordPress.com. Instead, you can either set up a Google Apps account to host your email or you can use an existing email provider.
For an explanation on how to do this, see
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/add-email/Now if what you’re wanting to do is map your WordPress.com account to wildheartsmusic.com.au, you just need to follow the instructions at
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/I can see you have the domain mapping upgrade purchased, so you will just need to make sure your nameservers are updated and you choose wildheartsmusic.com.au as your primary domain under your Dashboard > Store > Domains.
Let us know if you have any other questions!
