Multiple Free Sites

    I am confused by the statement that I can have multiple free sites. It seems I can have 1 free site and any others would need a paid hosting Plan. Then those sites would not be free. I read a wordpress support site that said multiple free sites are fine with ads. Is this still true? The post was from 2017.

    I want to try multiple free sites to try out different features and work up to building a site that I would make public. Right now I am just planning to tear down the free site I built and build another. But this loses anything I’ve learned on the 1st site.

    Yes, as far as I’m aware, you can still have more than one free site. I have a few. But I know WordPress.com constantly changes things. Where have you seen that it is otherwise?
