Multiple images have disappeared from my media library

  Tens of images have disappeared from my media library and I don’t know why. I have plenty of storage left (325mb of 3gb used) and the posts in which the images appeared still display the placeholder and know the name of the image. Furthermore, I can mention that I’ve never received any emails in the past warning me that my storage allocation was full.

  A majority of the images before March 2017 are gone. other images added in posts later than that right up to 18th June 2023 are randomly missing.

  Please help. What is going on?

  Hi there, I’ve briefly looked at your archives from March 2017 and later, but haven’t yet encountered any missing images.

  Can you link to a couple of posts or archives where you have missing images and placeholder content instead?

  I found some missing images at https://stockholminternationalrc.wordpress.com/2005/09/ and https://stockholminternationalrc.wordpress.com/2007/05/. All are due to a privacy error because the site they are coming from, no longer excists as there is an internal server error – http://www.srs.rotary.se

  The problem is not as big as i thought. What fooled me was when I looked at the list of posts made to this site several entries had no thumbnail of images contained in the post itself. I assumed the images were missing but in fact they weren’t.

  Thanks for all your help though. I think we can close this thread now.
