Multiple images in a post – formatting nightmare
-
Greetings,
I am trying to do something that I think should be easy – have multiple pictures in 1 post, with simple descriptions about each. Whatever I do, they end up bunched together with the text a garbled mess.
My other way around the issue would be to just have images (no text) but I will need to be able to make those images be links to external sites.
The purpose? A set of links to acting demo reels/shorts. I can do it with just text, but it will look better with images.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Thanks – but there is nothing resolved there. Someone else had the same conundrum, and there are a couple solutions mentioned, but none that seem to work.
Seems that this should be very simple. Maybe I’m being a little naive about the complexity involved…

What is the URL of your wordpress.com blog and what exactly are you trying to do? Could you temporarily put the post up so that we can look at it?

Good idea.

I am trying to put images from the demo clips with description.
You’ll see the mess of multiple images as the first post on the home page. If you go to “Demos” you’ll see just text which links to movie clips.
So – if someone could tell me how to make an image link to an external site, that would also work, because I can just make some gifs of the pictures with the words I want.
Thanks

That is not a WordPress.com blog; you need to be over at WordPress.org. They work very differently. Differences explained here:

I found a simple solution, just in case anyone needs it:
Add this code after each image and line of text:
<br clear=”left” />That does it.
