Multiple "Main Pages" for each author

    Good morning and thanks in advance for any and all good advice.

    I am getting ready to launch a collaborative, magazine style blogging effort. The basic idea is that we will have multiple authors, as well as a few podcasts, all posted into one wordpress implementation. And we definitely want a nice main page, with a logo and “featured articles” area. But what would really be ideal would be an option to have a subpage by author that would also have the same layout, including the same featured articles functionality, but limited to posts by that author. And perhaps with a different color scheme or logo?

    Is any of that possible? Has anyone every seen a theme with this functionality.

    If you look at IGN.com, you can see the big-daddy equivalent of our thinking, whereby their site is subdivided by categories. I would love to do the same thing.
