Multiple pages – multiple posts
-
I want to have multiple pages and I want to post on those separate pages. For example, I would like to post about teaching in one section, my writings in another section, etc. I want my readers to be able to click on the “page” and see the posts that directly relate to that page. I cannot figure out how to make that happen!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The best way to do this is to create menus in the navigation bar. With each post that you create you can assign a category to them.
In your Dashboard menu, if you select Appearance>Menu, it will bring you to the custom menu page, here you will create a menu. When you create a menu the “Menu Name” will help you keep track of where it is placed (like navigation bar menu). Once that is created, you can go into your categories and select which ones you would like to have in the navigation bar menu, for example “Teaching” and “Writings”, check the boxes to the left of the categories you want to have in the menu and click ‘Add to Menu’. The categories will be added to your menu, after you have added everything you want to your menu be sure to click ’Save Menu’ on the right side of the screen. These categories now become methods to organize your posts.
If you have sub-categories, “Poetry” under “Writings” for example, you can also add those categories to the menu, and have them appear under your main category topics. If you had a sub-category of poetry and you wanted it to appear under the writings, you would add the category item to the menu, and then drag it over one spot under “Writings”. When you do this an indented dotted line box should appear and it indicates that the subcategory is ‘within’ the above category link. Another way of doing this is to drag the sub-category link under the link you want it to appear under and select the drop down arrow on the right side of item, and towards the middle there are a series of blue links. One of the links will say ‘Move Under Writings’. If you select this option, the poetry category item will move under and become a sub set to your main writing category.

Technically you can’t post to more than one page on any blog but do read on. Static Pages and dynamic Category Pages are not the same. The former cannot automatically update but the latter do.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/If you want to have pages that do update then they must be replaced by dynamic category pages that will automatically update every time you publish a post assigned to the relevant category.
By default the front page of the blog is the post that displays all posts in your blog. Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts (not pages) http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page.
We organize posts by assigning categories to them. You can create a custom menu and add the dynamic categories pages into the custom menu.
