Multiple pages with different themes on the same site.

Hello, I am interested in hosting several different comics on the same site. I like the “panel” theme for its comics functionality. I’d like my main page to be a portal to different comics within the same site. Is there a way to set up different pages, each with different layouts? For example, I’d like the main page and “about us” to be the default layout, but I’d like to add several different pages for different comics that use the “panel” theme.
Thank you so much for your time.

Hi there,
Themes apply to the entire site, so it isn’t possible to have different themes on different pages of the same site. However, one way to do this is to set up a couple different sites that use different themes.
You can then set up Custom Menus on each site that link to the pages on the other sites. You can even use your custom domain to Map a Subdomain to the other site.
For example, your main site with your main page and “about us” page could be at bendycomics.com with one theme. Then, you can set up your comics on a subdomain like comics.bendycomics.com and use the Panel theme there. The menu on your main site can include a link to comics.bendycomics.com so visitors can access your comics there. (You could even set up different sites for each comic, e.g. comic1.bendycomics.com and comic2.bendycomics.com, to keep them even more separate.)
If that sounds too complicated, you could use the Panel theme for everything and try setting up a Front Page and other pages (like the “about us” page) with static content. The whole site will use the Panel theme, but you’ll still have a main page that acts like a portal to your comics.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
