Multiple POS Syncing
-
I am trying to figure out how to connect 2 businesses together through separate POS systems.
Our business is trying to drop ship products from another business who will get a commission off of each sale made. We have 6 local stores and we don’t want their inventory getting messed up with the other businesses inventory so we cant just sync them to our POS or our in-store employees will be confused on inventory statuses. For example, we might have 1 shoe in the store, but the other business has 15 in theirs, so when an employee checks, it will say we have 15 in stock.
The problem we are currently facing is that we are using 2 separate POS systems. I figured we could create a virtual server to sync our products together through our own POS, but I wouldn’t want to have to manually alter the inventory every day through this process. Only other option I believe can possibly work is through a sort of Plugin that can help with the integration between our online stores.
(We do need the inventory to run through our POS for monthly reports on our accountant’s end, so we somehow need our POS prioritized)Any recommendations or suggestions?

Hi there,
This forum only provides support for free sites hosted on WordPress.com.
The answer to your question would depend on whatever ecommerce system you’re using, whether the POS systems you use offer an integration with that ecommerce system, and whether the POS systems are compatible with one another.
So please contact support for the ecommerce plugin you’re using directly for help with this.
