Multiple Problems

1. My user name is a name from a blog I started and quit several years ago. How do I get rid of this user name and attach my current one?
2. My email is still showing up publicly. Even though I changed the email address yesterday for security, today it is still on one of the blog posts, showing under author. Why is it doing this and how do I get it to stop?
3. I though I would delete the entire thing and start all over again, but when I go to delete, it says this blog will never be available ever again. Do they mean just the current blog or that I can never use the website name ever again?Please, I am desperate for help!

NOTE: Once you change your username you cannot revert back to the old one.EMAIL SHOWING
Are you sure the email is still showing up in your blog? Because i cannot see any email being shown in the any of your blog posts. Please clear browser’s cache or check your blog in incognito/private mode and see if the email is still visible.If you delete your site completely, you cannot recover it again. Even your current blog address will not be available for you to create a new site with that blog address.
