Multiple problems inlc. nextgen gallery and featured image.

Hi!
I’ve been developing my fresh wordpress site http://www.inkvisitor.com. I completed most of the work today and decided to move the site from dev-server to actual server. I did it by installing it freshly on the new server (no importing). I use a paid theme called soundstage, bought from themeforest.
Even though I used a clean install, I faced some problems:
1) Nextgen gallery gives me a 404-error when trying to add a gallery when writing a post. This worked with just fine without any problems on the dev-server. When trying to upload images through the dashboard sidebar menu, it just gives me an error and a notice that 0 pictures were uploaded. Any ideas?
2) Featured images won’t show. When writing a post and selecting the featured image, it uploads it and shows it in the post edit window. However if you click the featured image and enter the editor, it disappears. You can see it in the media folder and add it to post with now problem, but if you use the featured image, it won’t show when you publish the post or enter the editor in the upload window.
I checked the themes functions.php and featured images were actived. In the dashboard screen options the featured image was also activated.
Both of these issues appeared today when I installed the theme on another server. Both worked fine on the dev-server.
