  Hi, I am thinking of upgrading two sites to the business plan, but they are radically different content, so I’d need a different display name & picture for each site. Can I do this without actually having two different email addresses?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi!

  Yes, you can have as many WordPress.com sites as you want on a single WordPress.com account.

  Each of these sites can have different display names and pictures.

  Sorry just to be clear: I know I can have many sites, but my can a single wordpress account backed by a single email address have a different username and gravatar on each site?

  You can visit https://gravatar.com website and enter the same email ID in multiple variants, if that’s something you might be comfortable doing. For example, you can use (email visible only to moderators and staff), (email visible only to moderators and staff) which would mean the same email ID, but works as multiple aliases.

  Do you get the logic?

  Additionally, just to clarify, not all themes use your Gravatar image as a site logo. One theme that I can think of doing this is Independent Publisher 2.

  All themes have their own dedicated “Logo” section on the WordPress.com Customizer https://wordpress.com/customize This is ideally the space where you should set your site’s logo.
