multiple single page articles

  I have a poetry blog and after posting all poems (for now) I have discovered they just all run on one page one right after the other. I prefer that each post has a page all it’s own. The poems are grouped by the years in which they were written. But everything is displaying together, not separated by year. How can I make each post have it’s own page and displayed in the year category which I have provided?
