Hi I am wanting to create two related but separate websites for my business. They both have unique domain names. Am I able to host and manage both sites under the same user name/email or do I need to set up multiple wordpress accounts?

    Hello @insitehc!

You can manage both sites under one account, it might be easier to manage that way.

It also depends on how you intend to manage your sites. If they are personal sites then, you’ll be fine with just managing them under one account. For independent business sites, you might want to create separate accounts.

    Best of luck,

    Austin!

    Hi there,

What it comes down to is whether you’re happy to have posts, pages and comments on both sites show the same username and profile picture as the author. If that’s fine, you can have both in the same account, and you’d switch between them by clicking on My Sites ->Switch Site. WordPress.com is specifically designed to make managing multiple sites in this way easy.

However, if you want to use different identities to post and comment on stuff on the two sites, you’ll need two separate username accounts.
