  I’m having trouble trying to figure out how to have a different name and gravitar for each of the 4 sites I run. I’d like to retain 1 login to WordPress and then choose which site to work on, but then I’d like to have a different gravatar and different username for each site.

  is this possible and, if so, is there a fairly simple way to set this up?

  Hi there. This is not possible.

  Gravatar images and user/display-names are account specific. You can have as many blogs as you like in one account, but you can only have one username, picture and email address for that account. Changing your username will delete the old one, but you can change the picture as often as you like.

  If you want different usernames and images, you’ll need to register a different account for each one, each account with its own unique email address as you also can’t use the same email for more than one account.
