multiple sites and themes

  Help! Somehow I’ve screwed up and have multiple sites and themes. The site I want to use has two or three different themes stacked. I can’t figure out how to eliminate old themes or old sites. I’ve spent all weekend on this and I’m racking up expenses buying themes!

  Hello there,

  What is the theme that you are wanting to use? From the site you linked above, it appears as though you are currently using the theme: Blask, which is a free theme.

  When you select multiple themes for the same site in a short period of time sometimes theme bits are not fully eliminated. In those cases one needs Staff to reset the theme for them.

  The site I want to use has two or three different themes stacked.

  Please post the URLs of the sites you are referring to here so I can assess if Staff help with theme resetting is required.

  Thank you so much for your time! It’s an unbelievable tangle. I just kept getting themes when I couldn’t figure one out. What a waste of money and no working website!

  OK, enough whining. In my wordpress stats I have the following sites:
  Sapphirephotographystudio.wordpress.com
  Sapphirephotographystudiocom.wordpress.com
  Sapphirephotographystudiodotcom.wordpress.com

  (I don’t remember setting up any but sapphirephotographystudio.com which I own the domain)

  As for themes I have Divi, my latest, which I believe I can figure out
  Also Acoustic, Prime, Twenty Fifteen, Twenty Seventeen, Twenty Sixteen
  (I remember Divi, Acoustic and Prime. The others I have NO IDEA where they came from)

  Oh yes, the sapphirephotographystudio.wordpress.com uses Blask as Amanda pointed out.

  @sapphirephotographystudio you can delete those two sites under settings. Here’s a shortcut; just head to these links and opt to delete the whole sites. Normally you’d want to be super careful about doing this, if you wanted to keep the content or the site addresses. Since you won’t want those, just go ahead:

  https://wordpress.com/settings/general/sapphirephotographystudiocom.wordpress.com

  https://wordpress.com/settings/general/sapphirephotographystudiodotcom.wordpress.com

  Also it sounds to me like you got those duplicates when trying to set up a custom domain, is that right? Once you’ve got the extras deleted, you can pick a single theme, then set up the plan / domain as you’d like, too.
