multiple sites-different authors
-
I have several blogs but two that I am actively using. The first one set up was http://www.arlingtonhomepro.com and the author is realestatehomepro. I am a realtor and use this for business. I have a second site http://youcannotmakethisup.com which is more for fun, internet dating and non work stuff. When I post there the posts are authored by realestatehomepro and have the same gravatar as my other blog. Any help on how to change this and not have the second blog linked in this obvious way to the first is greatly, greatly apprciated.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Each account has just one account email address and username. If the email address and username belong to you, and you want to contribute to a website in the account under a different username, you may log out of the first account*, create a separate account, and then log back into first account and send an invitation to be a contributor to the email address or username associated with the second account, assigning a user role.
* If you use a different browser for each account, you may avoid logging out of and logging back into the first account.

I would like to add a bit more information to this thread.
Regardless of the number of blogs registered under the same username account, email address and gravatar, Your username can be linked to a single primary blog only. To see how to change that go to http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2007/10/06/link-your-username-to-your-blog/ The change is not retroactive. Comments made previous to the change will remain linked as they were when submitted and approved.
To disassociate blogs currently registered under the same username accounts see here for step by step instructions http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/08/14/separate-username-accounts-separate-blogs/
You must log out, clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies, and without logging in, you register another username account under a different email address. Then you can transfer the blog to it.

I forgot to mention that there is only one author allowed per username. Since the username is the same for every blog in an account, the author will also be the same for every blog in that account. That’s why a second account is necessary in order to allow you to contribute to any blog in a single account under an author name which is different from that associated with the account username.

@musicdoc1
Your explanation is a good one. I have found that many bloggers simply do not know how to clear their browser cache and cookies and that they have to do so and that’s why I posted above. Hope you have a good day. :) -
