Multiple sites on one email address

  Good day – A long time ago I registered cookaloer.wordpress.com and linked it to my email (email visible only to moderators and staff).

  Recently, I registered at WordPress again, and created a new site under my own URL louishiemstra.co.za/wordpress – I believe I used the same email address to link to this site – (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  I’ve been working on this site until last week Friday – trying to log in today, it did not accept my password. I reset the password, but now upon logging in, I’m being directed to my old ‘cookaloer’ site, instead of the new one.

  I received this email from wordpress admin, sent to (email visible only to moderators and staff) when creating my new site:

  Your new WordPress site has been successfully set up at:

  http://louishiemstra.co.za/wordpress

  You can log in to the administrator account with the following information:

  Username: *****
  Password: The password you chose during the install.

  We hope you enjoy your new site. Thanks!

  To Summarize: I cannot log into my louishiemstra.co.za/wordpress site, nor can I reset the password.

  PLEASE can you help me to resolve this, I am in desperate need to update my page.

  Hi,

  Your new website is a self-hosted blog (WordPress.org) and can be accessed here:
  http://louishiemstra.co.za/wordpress/wp-admin

  Your old blog is hosted here at WordPress.com.

  These are 2 different accounts and have two different logins.

  For more info about the differences between .com and .org, see here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you have further issues with your self-hosted blog, you need to ask support from WordPress.org instead. Their support forum is at http://wordpress.org/support/

  Just create an account there if you don’t already have one and they should be better able to help you there.

  The WordPress.com forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com.
