Multiple site's on same email, can't log in!

    Hi,

A few years ago I made a free wordpress blog (this one I’m posting from), wrote a few posts then never went back on. I forgot about it for a few years. Then early this year I got 2 wordpress sites through bluehost. I have never been able to login directly through wordpress, only if I go through bluehost.com first and then login through the users section which then connects me to my wordpress dashboard. That’s fine for some things, as I was able to start building the sites, but I am now running into some issues that are making it clear I need the issue solved. When I called bluehost multiple times no one seemed to have an answer. First they had no idea why, then they told me that no one who has a site through bluehost can login directly through wordpress, but then the online tech support people on the thread helping me with the theme I purchased told me that they’ve had many bluehost users buy their themes and they log into their accounts using wordpress all of the time. Then I remembered I had made this blog a while back and wondered if it was somehow on the same email so when I thought of an old password I used a lot back then I was able to log in! So I have my 2 new sites through wordpress also linked with the same email as this site! So I can never log in. Is there any way to completely delete this and disconnect the email entirely so I can log in to my other sites through wordpress? I’m thinking that may be why I’m having the issue, unless there is something else I have to do that I haven’t done or something in order to be able to log in? I just haven’t been able to get a direct answer from anyone and would LOVE to get this issue resolved. Thanks so much!

    Hi,

So I have my 2 new sites through wordpress also linked with the same email as this site! So I can never log in.

It sounds like you can log in, but with an older email address and password that you’d rather not use. Would changing your WordPress.com account email address solve the problem? See the Update Email Address support page.

See the Issues Changing your Email Address section of that support page.

    Hi there,

Can you please give the site addresses, and the emails involved here so I can take a look? Type each email on its own line, and it will only be visible to staff like me.

If, as @musicdoc1 says above, you’re trying to access this account but don’t want to use the email currently connected to it any more, you can change the email address from your account settings, here:
