Multiple sites under same account

Right, this is a bit awkward, and excuse my ignorance as I am a total newbie. Yesterday I created a blog (trignosis.wordpress.com). Today, I created a site (kavlopaparo.wordpress.com) under the same account ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) – hoping that this would be a site, not a blog. Now, even if I log in to the former (trignosis), when I am logged on then only the latter seems to exist. Any new blog posts end up in the kavlopaparo blog, and I seem to have no way to specify which blog I want to post to.

It is not a great issue in real terms, I am only experimenting at the moment. Is there a way to delete a blog once started? I would even be happy to have my wordpress account completely deleted, and I can start over on a clean slate. Please advise.

    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

hoping that this would be a site, not a blog

    A blog is a website.

A blog is a post based website designed for interactive communication. As the posts are frequently updated and appear on the front page of the site it’s very attractive to search engines.

What most people call a website is merely a page based site that functions as a one way noticeboard. As the structure is page based and as pages are for static content that rarely changes, and as pages do not have RSS feeds, and as others do not backlink to pages, it is not as attractive to search engines as a post based blog structured site is.

Any WordPress blog can be restructured from being post based to being page based – no upgrade required. For greater clarity read > http://en.support.wordpress.com/using-wordpress-to-create-a-website/

Each username account has a single email address associated with it, a single gravatar, and only one primary blog can be linked to the username.

To disassociate blogs currently registered under the same username accounts see here for step by step instructions http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/08/14/separate-username-accounts-separate-blogs/

You log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, and then register another username account under a different email address. Then you transfer the blog to it.

Hey – thanks for the speedy reply! I think I understand what I have done wrong. For a start, I created two different wordpress accounts, and a site under each one of them. This is why I could not see one when logged onto the other’s account (duh!).

I need to work a bit more on converting my blog to a “non-blog” site, or creating a “non-blog” site from scratch, but thanks to your advice I now have a good starting point. Thanks again!
