multiple sub-sections within blog
-
i don’t know if my topic title is the best description, but to explain – my dealership has three different brands – chrysler, jeep, and dodge, and i’d like to have tabs, or something similar, at the top of my blog, that readers can click on, to access ‘mini-blogs’ about each specific brand. is there any theme that allows me to do that? the one i’m currently using doesn’t, and in my brief browsing, i don’t think i found anything…..
i saw another blog recently, and it used the thesis theme, which sort of was the idea i’m looking for, but i know you can only use it if you download the wordpress and create your blog from scratch. any ideas?
thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi mbethard,
One way to achieve this is to create a category for each brand of car, for example, “Chrysler”, “Jeep”, and “Dodge”. When users click these links in the menu, they will be taken to the archive for each category. So you get the same effect as a “mini-blog”.
Then, create a custom menu that contains links to each of these three categories.
When you write your posts, file it in of the three categories you created. For example, when you write a “Chrysler” post, file it in the “Chrysler” category, and so on.
You can achieve this with just about any theme in our showcase, so the theme you pick depends on the type of look you want for your site. Do you want the site to look like a news/magazine site? Or do you want it to look more like a blog?
For example, here are some themes in our showcase that work particularly well for news-style sites.
