Multiple Themes on the Same URL
-
I have one site URL, and I would really like to figure out how to use a different theme for each page I have under that URL. I know most people believe that you can only have one theme for a given URL, but I have heard that it is possible to use a different theme for different pages on your site. Does anyone know how to do this?

That’s a “no-can-do” on wordpress.com blogs. One theme adapted to run on wordpress multi-user wp-com software is all you get. Each theme is hardcoded to either show the header on every page or not.

The crucial question is this: who is your host?
Blogs on wordpress.com are all hosted by wordpress. If you have downloaded a software from http://wordpress.org then you are looking in the wrong place for support. We run on different software here.
So, if that’s the case and you are self hosting on your own server then you need to ask your questions here http://wordpress/org/support
Or, if you have hired a web host then that’s who you put your questions to.

Just to clarify, as TT noted, you need to be over at http://wordpress.org as that’s the site for support of the software.
Please note it’s always a good idea to read a sticky post labeled “Please Read Me First Before Posting” as it usually contains important information.
