Multiple Title Tags on Site

    This site I manage has multiple title tags for pretty much all of its pages and I can’t figure out what exactly is causing that issue. The site is using the Yoast plugin which, as far as I know, should just override any other title tag settings when you set the tag using Yoast. The title tags that appear when viewing a page are the same as the page’s internal title, not the title tags that are set using Yoast. Any help is appreciated!

    It may be something built into the theme itself.

    Thanks for that! Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.

    I would first check with Yoast support to see if you have things configured correctly in their plugin to override things as you expect.

    If that doesn’t fix things, since your site is running a custom theme, you may want to ask Yoast how to properly configure your theme so it uses Yoast’s tag settings and your theme developer can implement that for you.
