Is there a limit to how many users can sign up from same IP? I just received a message stating “Limit reached. You can try again in 60 minutes. trying again before that will only increase the time you have to wait before the ban is lifted. If you think this is in error, contact support.”

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Which blog are you concerned about please?
yes I do assume there would be a limit but I don’t know that for a fact so I’ll tag this thread for a Staff response.

This is a common error that happens when, yes, you try to sign up for too many blogs all at once or too many people, like a school class, try to register from one IP. It’s an anti-spam measure and I’m afraid there’s not much that can be done about it. You can prevent it from happening by using proxies and things like TOR that change your IP.

@brianm423, are you at a school or other public location? Is this just affecting you, or are you a teacher or other organizational leader of some kind?

We can sometimes assist with these situations if someone in charge contacts us directly and lets us know the situation. If that’s you, please contact me via email, and include my name in the subject line, and a link to this ticket in the email.
