  can I have more than one wordpress site associated with my email address?

  You can have as many sites as you wish, there are no limits. You can simply login to your account, if you are not already logged in and then go to
  https://wordpress.com/start to create additional sites.

  But please note that, upgrades and purchases are individual to each site and not to the complete account.
