Multiple WordPress Instances
-
Hi, my company has two wordpress instances: stytchcom.wpcomstaging.com, and stytch.com/blog
I keep getting directed to the former, but I need to do work on the latter. How do I make the latter my default?
Thank you,
DennisThe site I need help with is stytch.com/blog. It is not hosted by WordPress.com or connected with Jetpack. This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

According to whois info, https://digital.com/web-hosting/who-is/#search=stytch.com, that site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform but it is connected to another wordpress.com account. So log out from current and log in to the wordpress.com account connected to that site.

Hi Dennis,
Go to your account settings page at https://wordpress.com/me/account, and select that site as your primary site. Then the WordPress.com My Sites dashboard will default to that site.
As @staartmees indicated above, that site is not hosted with us. But you have it connected to your WordPress.com account via the Jetpack plugin, so you can select it as primary.
In fact, it looks like you already have it set as primary, so when you start a new browser session for WordPress.com that’s the site you should land on automatically. But I also notice you have the same title for both sites, Stytch Blog, so it’s possible you keep on switching between them without realising it. Perhaps consider changing the title of one of the two sites to something else to make it simpler to distinguish them from one another.
