Multisite / Multinetwork on wordpress.com

  I have read some posts on the Forum saying it is not possible to have a multisite installation hosted on wordpress.com

  I would like to confirm if that is the case.

  I know wordpress.com is already a multisite network, but I also know it is possible to have a network of multisite networks. So theoretically wordpress.com could allow to host multisite installations. That is why I would like to confirm whether or not this is possible.

  Hi there!

  It is not possible to set up a multisite network on WordPress.com. You can create different sites and host them on subdomains, but they would still be different from each other.

  Can you tell us more about what features of the multisite network you need? I’m trying to understand if your requirements can be met without the need of a multisite.
