    Hey HI!
If you are using anything with php
then you are in the wrong place:
    http://wordpress.org/support/
    wp.COM is not wp.ORG
    detail:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

If you just want to learn how to make custom WordPress sites and such you can install the WordPress.ORG software on your desktop PC.

The .ORG folks have instructions and which software is required – all the software can be found for free so you don’t need a host or a domain name.

If you just want to learn CSS then you can buy the CSS upgrade and CSS away, just be aware that there is not a lot of support for CSS here so you are somewhat on your own, there are a few real wizards here that can help.

For the sake of clarification, because you said “.org” in the thread title but “.com” in the thread body: If you do have a WordPress.COM blog, then please be advised you can’t edit the PHP.

Follow the links provided by 1tess and auxclass to find out more about WordPress.ORG, where you could edit the PHP as you wish.

What you want is not possible at WordPress.com. It IS possible using the WordPress.MU variety of WordPress software from WordPress.org.

As I suspected. Thank you guys! I’m sorry for those who misunderstood me: I just asked if there was a way to Activate the multisite function in wordpress.com since I read in the Features page(http://wordpress.com/features/ under the title “Multiple blogs and multiple authors”) that there was but I haven’t been able to find. Are there any chances I did’t get it right?

OK – the old grapefruit & oranges thing

You can have more than one blog for your account “eugenioricca”

Each individual blog can have more than one Author or Editor etc.

Each Author etc. can contribute to more than one blog, all the Admin needs to do is invite the designated Author (or editor etc.)

There are some things that can be done with Domain mapping (and custom domain names) to make the URL’s look connected.

The “Multisite” function is a WordPress.ORG software feature that you don’t have access to here as such. However when you create a blog here you use features related to Multi-site if I remember the correct features of Multi-site.

Now – Have I got things completely confusing? :)
