  I would like to create a multivendor site where multiple individuals are able to post items for sale.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can invite (add) contributors to your site by following the instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/ After that, they’ll be able to post content directly to your site.

  Warning: Please be very careful when adding a new Administrator user to your blog. Other Administrators are effectively co-owners. They have as much power over your blog as you do, including the ability to permanently delete it.

  okay. are individuals able to post photos and such making it like amazon?
  am i able to have “cart” options for checkouts

  Hi,

  WordPress.com is not really a great fit for an online marketplace like what you’ve described.

  My suggestion is to use WooCommerce for an eCommerce store:
