Museum Theme: Customization
-
Hi,
I want to use the Museum theme. However, the default setting is suitable only for square image.
Is there a way that I can showcase rectangular pics (landscape) using this theme?
Please help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The detailed theme description page is here https://wordpress.com/themes/museum The template underlying the theme is here https://museumdemo.wordpress.com/
Know that we bloggers cannot access or edit the HTML or PHP code in templates as all blogs wearing the same theme are using the same template.

This might be possible with some custom CSS, for example for the small featured images on the blog page:
.blog .hentry, .archive .hentry { height: 200px; }Custom CSS is available with the Premium or Business plan.
Additional CSS would be needed for single posts and other spots where the featured image is used – you can get help in the CSS Customization forum if you decide to go this route.

Hi,
Thanks for your responses.
However, I wanted a free theme that will help me display my photographs (in landscape mode). Unfortunately, none of the templates I have found so far supports it.
So, any suggestion/recommendation will be highly appreciated.
Thanks!

How about Blask or Baskerville?

Also Mixfolio: https://mixfoliodemo.wordpress.com/ or Visual: https://visualdemo.wordpress.com/ might work.

kathrynwp,
thank you for such wonderful support.
I think mix folio is the closest to what i am looking for.
Actually, I will have very little content for pics. The mail goal is to display the photo (with a sentence or two to describe it).
you can check it at: https://lightsandmoments.wordpress.com/
thanks!
