  Is there a way to have music start right when the page loads as opposed to having visitors press play each time?

  Hello!

  Here’s an excerpt from https://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/#embed-audio-from-a-link

  To automatically start playing your track when the page is visited, add:
  [audio src=http://en-support.files.wordpress.com/2014/10/istock_audio.wav autoplay=1]

  I would like to add that music that is uploaded directly to your Media Library cannot be set to autoplay.

  I feel It is also worth mentioning that some people might find music autoplaying very intrusive and some people might avoid your site because of it. In the end however, it’s your site and and if you want your music to autoplay that’s your choice and you should rock it!

  Are you sure you want to do this?

  Starting music without asking is (imho) intrusive and not very visitor friendly. What if I am visiting your site on my phone (wich a lot of people do) and I am for instance in the waiting room of my dentist and my phone starts singing. I would be gone in less then a second.

  Also if I am not on WIFI your music uses up my data to start playing.

  What if I don’t like the music you picked. I would never visit your site again even if the information on it is exactly what I need.

  Please reconsider if you want to have music autostart on your website.
