Hello there. Sorry to hear you’re experiencing trouble with the installation of the music widget. I see that you’re using Safari. To further troubleshoot the issue, could you please attempt the installation on Chrome and Firefox, and let me know if you have a different experience? Please get back to me to let me know how that goesm and we’ll move forward from there. Many thanks!

Hi, I tried both and still nothing…. So just to clarify, I’m trying to access the music player widget and each time that I click choose songs, it won’t let me…Thank you!

Hello! I would like to test this out for you, but I don’t see the music widget in your sidebar. If it is elsewhere on your site, could you please send me a link? If you removed it, could you add it again so I can troubleshoot for you?
Additionally, we made a couple adjustments to the ways you can add the music player to your site. The support document was updated recently, so in case you haven’t yet seen it, here you go:
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

Thanks so much for doing that! Very helpful.
I’d like to understand what trouble you’re having in adding songs. I was able to go into your widget and add songs from your Media Library. Can you confirm for me that these are the steps you’re taking:
- Click Appearance → Widgets.
- Click on your Music Player widget.
- Click Choose Songs.
- Click Add to Audio Playlist.
- Click Media Library and choose the songs you want to add.
- Click the button in the lower right-hand corner of the window “Add to Audio Playlist.”
- Click the button in the lower right-hand corner of the window “Insert Audio Playlist.”
- Save your widget.
Let me know if you are able to do this. And if not, at what point in the process are you getting stuck?
Let me know if you have any other questions. Cheers!

ok, yes, I am doing the steps you just said to do. I click on the choose songs and it doesn’t allow me to even have the option to add to audio playlist.. I don’t know whats going on. If you’re able to do shouldn’t I?

Could you send me a screenshot of what you see after you click Choose Songs? That will help me troubleshoot the issue. You can simply upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there. Just let me know when there’s something I should take a look at.
The page at the following link has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:
Thanks very much. We’ll get to the bottom of this…

sorry, I replied directly back through email instead of here… I sent a screen shot, It’s like I click on choose songs and nothing happens

If you click on the link and it doesn’t “go” anywhere, could you please try to do this in either a Firefox or Chrome browser? I see you’re using Safari currently. Let’s see what happens if you make an adjustment to the browser.

Ah! Thanks for the screenshot. I believe one of the issues you’re having is that you are running in accessibility mode and it is interfering with your install of the music widget.
While you are in your Dashboard, click Appearance → Widgets. In the upper, right-hand corner, you will see Screen Options. Click that tab. Then click “Disable accessibility mode.”
That should send you back to your widget screen and you should be able to work with your Music widget from there. Please let me know how that solution works for you. Thanks very much!
