must have email to post to blog?

I created the blog for my fifth graders to respond to, but many of them do not have email addresses. How can they post on my blog without an email address?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you want your students to have access to posting on a blog, they will need to have their own WordPress.com accounts, and that requires them to each have a unique email address. If the children are under 13, we are also required by law to obtain a parent’s consent to allow them to create these accounts.
If this isn’t an option, you might look into a self-hosted WordPress blog, using your own hosting provider and the software available at WordPress.org. If you are hosting your own site, you will have more control over logins and will not need to obtain parental consent.

Thank you for that information. How do I host the blog on another account? I already have a website on another account but it didn’t have blog software like the great stuff that WordPress has!

Perhaps edublogs would be a better choice for you.
See: http://edublogs.com
Edublogs lets you easily create & manage student & teacher blogs, quickly customize designs and include videos, photos & podcasts – it’s safe, easy and secure. The site runs on the same WordPress software we do here ie. wpMU (wordpress multiuser). However, the site is specifically set up for teachers and students. All edublogs are are advertising free, whereas our blogs here at WordPress.com are not ad-free, unless we buy an annually renewable No-Ads upgrade.

You’re welcome. May I also add that, of course, an email address is a requirement for registartion no matter where anyone blogs. Free email address accounts are easy to register.
