Must purchase Premium Plan for renewing Domain Mapping?

    Hi,

    I’m trying to renew my domain mapping, though it is impossible to achieve this without paying $99 for a premium plan (I just want to map my domain to an already existing domain I have); I paid $13 last time when I mapped it, however, for renewal I need to pay $99 for a year? Is there a way I could renew it without buying a premium plan? I won’t be required to access other premium features anyways. Please advise.

    Hi there,

    Your previous domain mapping upgrade expired in May. We no longer sell stand-alone domain upgrades on WordPress.com. You can continue renewing existing upgrades, but if you cancel a domain mapping or let it expire, the only way to add a new one is by purchasing a plan. So in this case, as the upgrade was removed from your account several months ago, buying a plan is the only way to add it back.

    You can also use the Personal Plan, which I see you’ve already bought.
