MX record

    We are trying to add an MX Record for our domain name. It is suppose to point to smtp-in-114.livemail.co.uk for the root/naked domain.

    Host: (root/@/blank – needs to be on the naked domain)
    Value: smtp-in-114.livemail.co.uk
    Priority: 10

    However, the wordpress dashboard does not allow to keep the hostname blank. So instead was advised to add the following record:

    A record:
    Host: mailserver
    Value: 213.171.216.114

    and

    MX Record
    Host: mailserver
    Value: 213.171.216.114 or smtp-in-114.livemail.co.uk
    Priority: 10

    The above has been added but it is not recognised by the domain name upon look up:
