MX Record Error b/c Domain Mapping to Word Press
-
After purchasing a domain I set up the email before mapping the domain to a word press site. Now I cannot get the email to work. I deleted it and tried to set up a new one and now I get (Pending Setup: validating MX record ). What do I have to do with godaddy.com or wordpress.com to fix this so I can access my email account for the domain?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Have you looked through this support document on setting up MX?

When I transferred my site to WordPress.com I kept my old email at my old host. The MX records I needed to change are below:
A mail 255.255.255.255
MX 10 mail.my-domain.com.I have a static IP and you need to change the numbers to match your email host – WordPress.com uses a domain shorthand that confused my old host and I needed to get help from the Staff – they were quite helpfull.

When I purchased the domain name on godaddy, it gave me x# of emails with the domain name (ie (email visible only to moderators and staff)). Unfortunately, I activated the email before finishing the domain mapping to word press, and now I can’t access it…keep getting the MX Record Error…
