If your mail is being handled by a third party you’ll need to add their MX records to your DNS here at WordPress.com. Check out https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/custom-dns/ for instructions on how to add custom DNS records here.

Also, if all you wanted to do is use WordPress.com’s email forwarding service you can find instructions for setting that up at https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/

While you have a domain mapping upgrade here for the domain, 33an3rdcurios.com, a WhoIs lookup shows that the domain is not registered at all. Does it mean you had cancelled the domain then?

Looking at your account data, it appears the problem was that you had both email forwarding and hosted email set up. However, hosted email won’t work if you have email forwarding active as well, and it also will only work if the domain’s name servers are pointed to WordPress.com.

I can cancel the mapping upgrade for you, but your first post here, three weeks ago, was already past the point where we would have been able to issue a refund, as we can only issue refunds within the first 30 days after an upgrade is purchased. You originally bought this mapping upgrade on 8 October, so we would only have been able to issue a refund until 8 November. You only started this form thread on 24 November.
