MX Records

    When I try and add an mx record through the DNS facility in wordpress.com I get 3 fields: for example
    Type: MX
    Name: xxxx .mysitename.com
    Points to: ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM

    However the name field is followed by .mysitename.com however I don’t want anything in the name field (I put xxx in the example above). I just want the name to be: mysitename.com by itself. In the documentation is just refers to a single name NOT the qualified subdomain.mysitename.com that I encountered. It will not accept blanks in the name field is there some special character that will give me what I want?

    I tried @ where the xxx is but got an error message “invalid name”.
