MX Records for WordPress hosted site, Godaddy email
-
I’m helping out a friend with her site. Her domain is registered through GoDaddy. She has the premium package with WordPress.com.
At Godaddy, we pointed the name servers to WordPress and the site is loading just fine.
The problem is, we aren’t able to get her email working. I went into wordpress to change the MX records to exactly what Godaddy suggested a few days ago. WordPress shows the new MX records, but it’s still not working. Godaddy now shows her domain as having no MX records. I keep searching for an answer and am not finding it. I am about to pull out my last hair.
What am I missing here, please?
Can someone please help me figure out why this

Hi cynthiaraza,
This is what I’m seeing using Domain Helper:
MX mailstore1.secureserver.net 10 godaddy.com.
MX smtp.secureserver.net 0 godaddy.com.Adjust the MX records so they look the following:
MX 0 smtp.secureserver.net.
MX 10 mailstore1.secureserver.net. -
Darrell,
This was hugely helpful and exactly the answer/example I was looking for. Thank you so, so much for taking the time out to answer me!
