    It looks like your domain is not pointing to WordPress.com name servers yet:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/?host=mmertz.com

    Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

    For more information, please visit the help documentation provided by the registrar and our support page:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

    In regard to email, we do not provide email hosting, but you can connect email hosting from another provider to your custom domain. Here are instructions for using email with your custom domain:

    Please let me know if you have further questions or if anything is unclear.

    I have a domain registered with GoDaddy and the A records are pointing to Word Press (including the NS records). I have changed the email settings of my domain in the word press to “Custom DNS” and added the “MX” records of the hosting company.

    Hosting company wants me to get the MX records of word press so that I can update that in the CPanel. Can someone help me out?

    @preetig

    I’ve examined your DNS records at WordPress.com and your mail will not correctly work until you add A records for mx1.twocorners.org and mx2.twocorners.org. You need to specify where this mail server is located.

    Please contact your email hosting provider to obtain the correct I.P. addresses. Once you have this information, let me know, and I will assist you with creating the requisite DNS records at WordPress.com.

    Thank you! We used to have our email server located with IBEE hosting and used to access through CPanel – to create email accounts.

    I contacted them and they asked us to get the MX records of the Word Press so that we can update our MX records.

    Can you please provide that?

    Yes, can I get the MX records of the word press so that I can update the settings at my end on CPanel. Thanks

    @preetig

    At present, WordPress.com is handling your domain’s DNS, at it appears that you’ve added the necessary records to have your domain’s mail handled by your email provider.

    No further information from WordPress.com should be required.

    If I’ve misunderstood the issue, or if you have any other questions, please let me know.
